COURSE OUTLINE
Bon Losee Academy of Hair Artistry

Cosmetology/Barbering Course	Full-time = 54 weeks-2000 hours
Basic Esthetics Course	Full-time = 16 weeks-600 hours
Master Esthetics Course	Full-time = 32 weeks-1200 hours

DESCRIPTION OF COURSES

Cosmetology/Barber: Bon Losee Academy educates students in Laws, Rules & Regulations, Theory, and Practical skills pertaining to the Cosmetology/Barbering industry. Upon completion, the student may have several career choices, for example: cosmetology/barber stylist, salon manager, manicurist, product representative, platform artist, etc. Basic Esthetics/Master Esthetics: Bon Losee Academy educates students in Laws, Rules & Regulations, Theory, and Practical skills pertaining to the Esthetics industry. Upon completion, the student may have several career choices, for example: esthetics practitioner, spa manager, educator, product representative, assistant to medical professional, etc.

COURSE GOAL
Bon Losee Academy's goal is to teach, develop, and graduate students to be professionals in the Art and Science of Cosmetology/Barbering or the Art and Science of Esthetics, and to prepare students to successfully pass the Utah State Board Examinations. Students who successfully pass the Bon Losee Academy Cosmetology/Barbering or Esthetics course will be prepared for successful employment in the Cosmetology/Barbering or Esthetics profession.


COURSE FORMAT
Classes are presented in the form of lectures, clinic instruction on clients (including mini-classes), and Theory and Practical classes (models, mannequins, students, audio/visual, etc.) with well-defined motivational lesson plans stating objectives and criteria for evaluation.
