COUNSELING
The Academy provides the student personalized academic, individual, and career counseling through counselors who help with goal-achievement, aptitude evaluation, and personal growth.
COMPLIANCE WITH CIVIL RIGHTS ACT
No person on the grounds of age, sex, race, ethnic origin, or religion will be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subject to discrimination under any programs offered by Bon Losee Academy.
ACCESS TO RECORDS AND RIGHT TO PRIVACY
Students have the right to inspect their school records by making a written request two days prior to the review with a statement defining the purpose. Student records will be reviewed with an authorized school representative.
All student records shall be kept confidential and only released upon written authorization of the student or parent of dependent minor student, with the following exceptions:
Student records may be released to collection agencies for collection of funds owed the academy.
Law enforcement agencies with proper legal procedures.
Parents of dependent minors may review a student's cumulative records with an authorized school representative present to interpret the records.
Student records may be released to applicable financial institutions. All reviews must be scheduled two days in advanced.
Specified officials for audit or evaluation interest.
Other schools to which a student is transferring.
Appropriate parties in connection with financial aid to a student.
Organizations conducting certain studies for or on behalf of the school.
Accrediting organizations and government organizations.
Appropriate officials in case of health and safety emergencies.
